Generator Studio Partner + Director of Interior Design Christina Franklin will be featured in the Sept. 21 issue of Sports Business Journal and at the Game Changers Evening of Celebration in New York on Sept. 30. Christina is the list’s only honoree from the architecture and interior design space, and one of the few from the greater AEC industry.
Since 2011, the Sports Business Journal Game Changers program has recognized women for their leadership, innovation, and accomplishments that make a lasting impact on sports business worldwide. Honorees include women leaders, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers in professional and college sports, media, technology, marketing, leagues, and teams.
Since joining Generator, Christina has led interior design on all of our sports and entertainment projects, bringing hospitality-forward design to every project we touch. As a lead designer for CPKC Stadium—the world’s first stadium purpose-built for a professional women’s sports team, the Houston Comets player spaces, and the KC Current Training Facility, Christina has seen firsthand the impact that well-designed sports facilities can have on an athlete’s performance and recovery, and how they can contribute to a fan’s overall experience.
