At the 2026 KC Global Design FWD event, Live Nation was honored with a FWD Fusion Award. The award recognizes the spirit of partnership by honoring clients who bring teams together from across KC’s design and construction community.
Live Nation’s Morton Amphitheater in Riverside, Missouri, opened in June 2026 as the biggest live music venue in the Kansas City region in nearly two decades. Kansas City firms designed and built the venue almost entirely, and its opening season brought more than 45 shows and thousands of fans through Riverside.
Generator Studio served as the Architect of Record and interior designer, working closely with Live Nation’s Blueprint Studio to ensure adherence to the live entertainment provider’s brand.
ARCO served as the General Contractor, keeping a 136-acre site on schedule. Stand Structural Engineering designed a unique structure holding up that 100,000-square-foot roof; Renaissance Infrastructure Consulting handled the civil work on a levee-protected site; Henderson Engineers ran MEP for a venue that has to move sound, power, and thousands of people; and Confluence shaped the landscape architecture, turning the site into a welcoming plaza.
