In Riverside, Missouri, a new chapter in live entertainment is taking shape. Live Nation selected Generator Studio as the architect for the Morton Amphitheater, a 16,000-capacity venue set to elevate the local music scene.
Located just outside downtown Kansas City, the outdoor amphitheater will be a modern space that complements stunning views of the Kansas City skyline and the Missouri River. Its park-like plaza and expansive covered seating will create a welcoming atmosphere for music fans, while backstage amenities will ensure a comfortable environment for touring artists.
Regional influence will be a key aspect of the venue, as Live Nation plans to collaborate with local vendors for food and beverage offerings. Additionally, the amphitheater will implement Live Nation’s Green Nation sustainability program, focusing on reducing single-use plastics and promoting recycling, composting, and food donations.
Bringing a new live entertainment experience to the Kansas City region, the Morton Amphitheater is set to open in 2026 and host more than 40 shows annually.
