Architectural Associate Gabby Castaneda

While in Rome, Gabby climbed 550 steps to the top of the St Peter’s Basilica dome in Vatican City.

Gabby holds a master’s degree in Architecture from Kansas State University. As a kid, she admired the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and its Bloch Gallery—the glow of the building captivated her. Now, it’s understanding the materials and mechanics behind the building designed by her favorite architect, Steven Holl, that inspires her. Since joining the Generator team, Gabby has specialized in sports architecture, from stadium and arena designs to venue renovations.

A bit unexpectedly, she’s become a huge sports enthusiast, proudly wearing t-shirts featuring the Chicago Blackhawks, one of Generator’s clients, to the office on the reg. Among her proudest achievements are the exceptional architectural renders she’s created as part of the visualization team.
