Ben has always had a passion for architecture and design while also taking an interest in fine art. He finds inspiration in the work of famous architects like Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the surreal paintings of Joan Miró, and in listening to sports podcasts or his favorite Hip Hop music. His other art forms are coffee (big snob) and craft beer (likes to think he’s a snob). 

Since joining Generator, Ben jumped right into his role as Project Architect on the Chicago Blackhawks Fifth Third Arena expansion and has played a major part in pushing the design forward. On the weekends you can find Ben at the art museum or watching basketball or football games (Minnesota Vikings fanboy). Ben holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Iowa State University.
