Repeat client LANE4 Property Group sought out Generator Studio to analyze the existing Santa Fe Square Shopping Center and formulate strategic, cost conscious ways to bring new life to the outdated center and attract new tenants to the partially empty building.
The design solution centers around a new focal element at the main corner of the building; a tower element that anchors the center and faces the primary entrance to the site. Additional façade improvements build off the architecture of the focal element to create a kit of parts that will be applied to the rest of the center in the upcoming phase two renovation.
Other scope areas of the project include: improved pedestrian and vehicular circulation on site through new parking and walkways; added landscape to soften the expansive fields of parking; new monument and building signage; and new architectural lighting.
