NHL Seattle announced their plans to build the NHL Ice Centre designed by Generator Studio.

Seattle is the city that’s world-class and forward thinking. A city with a unique connection to nature. It is fitting that it should have a state-of-the-art NHL ice center that truly represents its community. Built within city limits, this new training facility is designed to immerse the public in the overall experience of hockey and entertainment while integrating pacific northwest architecture. We want to embrace natural light, and create space for the public to connect with nature. With three NHL regulation sheets of ice available
with spectator viewing and opportunities to host various communities events this will become the most public facing NHL training center on the west coast. We want to continue to grow the hockey culture and create a truly unique training center, that will impact the sport of hockey in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.  This facility will aspire to impact the sport of hockey in the Pacific Northwest for generations to come. This facility is yours, Seattle.

“This facility is designed with three ice rinks that will allow us to serve our community and it will be one of the finest NHL training facilities ever built,” Tod Leiweke, CEO, NHL Seattle.
