Digital Design + Technical Lead
Robert Glinn
Robert's philosophical grounding comes from the Hermetic principles.
Robert calls himself an artist before anything else, and the rest follows. What pulls him isn’t the building so much as the act of making it— creation as service. As Generator Studio’s Digital Design and Technical Lead, he moves between two registers that don’t obviously belong together: a deep attachment to natural systems and a longtime command of BIM and the technical side of design. He finds the connection between them more compelling than the contrast, which is roughly what drew him to architecture in the first place. Twenty years and a Kansas State degree later, that instinct has restored farmland and established a food forest that National Geographic filmed.
At Generator, it shows up in BIM, AI, and projects like The Refinery, Memorial Stadium, Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City, and Toyota Center Reimagined. Away from the studio, he’s a father, painter, tennis player, builder, and land steward, happiest on a float trip down the Current River.
