A new workplace in the heart of Kansas City allows Dickinson Financial Corporation to reaffirm its commitment to the downtown community. Occupying three floors and roughly 59,000 SF, two brands: Academy Bank and Armed Forces Bank will share collaboration areas, break-out spaces and spacious cafes, allowing all of the banks’ disciplines to work in a common space for the first time.
A variety of private and open workspaces allow a hybrid work environment to thrive. Innovative thinking comes to the foreground in the customized space which purposefully steps away from traditional workplace planning, featuring high concentration zones of semi-private offices alongside small-scale, open office groupings, encouraging communication and collaboration. Heavy integration of technology allows for departmental huddles with immediate access to daily data and initiatives. Overarchingly, the headquarters is emblematic of the brands’ high touch/high tech approach at their retail branches.
“The headquarters is the culmination and embodiment of the banks’ progressive retail focus on hospitality and technology over the last decade; we are honored to have had a hand in not only the evolution of the retail location but also the headquarters project,” said Christina Franklin, Director of Interior Design at Generator Studio.
