In the shadow of the Space Needle, members of the Generator Studio team gathered with project partners to witness the placement of the final beam for the new Memorial Stadium.
Since first breaking ground in June 2025, the site has seen the demolition of large concrete walls that hid the stadium from the rest of Seattle Center. In their place stands the steel structure of a modern, multi-purpose venue that opens sightlines and expands public spaces, fully integrating into its surroundings.
With this milestone, Memorial Stadium is one step closer to welcoming Seattle Public Schools students and the greater Seattle community in Fall 2027.
