A major project milestone was celebrated with our partners, Seattle Public Schools, the City of Seattle, and the One Roof Foundation, as we broke ground on the new Memorial Stadium.
This $140 million transformation will reimagine Memorial Stadium as a modern, multi-purpose venue fully integrated into the Seattle Center campus. The design prioritizes openness and accessibility, removing physical barriers, expanding public space, and unveiling new sightlines that connect the stadium to its surroundings like never before.
Once complete, the new Memorial Stadium will serve as a vibrant hub for student athletics, education, arts, culture, entertainment, and community gatherings. The venue will feature seating for 6,500, with a total capacity of 8,000, and is slated to open by fall 2027.
