The Tria Health office, designed by Kansas City-based architecture and interior design firm Generator Studio, has been selected as a Kansas City Business Journal 2025 Capstone Award winner.
Tria Health, the first office tenant in the historic Grand Place building, embraces its rich heritage with exposed brick and steel, complemented by fixtures crafted from old machinery parts once used in the building. The design maximizes natural light and outdoor connections while ensuring privacy and HIPAA compliance through strategic acoustical separation. Sliding glass doors and operable garage doors that open to a large, airy break room on the north side help create a harmonious flow between the interior and exterior.
The Kansas City Business Journal Capstone Awards annually recognizes the top real estate and development projects in the metro area. Previous Generator Studio-designed Capstone Award winners include the Kansas City Current’s CPKC Stadium and the Child Protection Center.
