Let the Games Begin: Revamped Scottrade Center is Open

Generator Studio worked closely with the St. Louis Blues and Paric Construction to renovate Scottrade Center in the 2017 off-season, with 10 weeks of construction totaling $34 million in upgrades to the arena.

High points of the renovation include a new center hung scoreboard, renovated restrooms on public concourses, new concessions, an expanded and renovated Blues locker room, various team oriented event level renovations, and technology upgrades including sound and lighting.

A key component to this summer’s work includes the addition of 132 premium seats sold as 2, 4, 6 and 8 person Theater Boxes supported by a private bar and dedicated food service.

Central to the design and implementation of the upgrades was the Blues’ goal of integrating St. Louis culture and fan focused amenities.

“So you’re going to see, feel, hear, and taste a little bit of St. Louis in here without putting an arch in the middle of the arena.” – Alex Rodrigo, group VP and arena GM for the St. Louis Blues
